On December 24th we met at Red Bluff Park to work with the fire workshop, focusing on transportation and conservation of fire.
We started off building a large campfire to keep us warm in the cold of the winter. Then we created mud/clay ovens to be used for future workshops. We then split into two groups and collected embers from our campfire and transported them using mud pots we built last year. Each group was able to reproduce the fire and stay warm on a very cold night.
For anyone interested in reproducing the Workshop, the material is attached.
